Description

Development of a VMware driver, this ticket includes:
  • ONE driver VMM class for VMWare.
  • Ruby invocation of remote process.
  • The VM driver (to manage and monitor VMs)
  • Monitoring scripts for the Information Manager

I moved this feature to the next release. Although the code base is already there some more testing is needed, and that will delay 1.0. We will make the VMware drivers available soon in the development version.

The VMware plugins will be distributed into release 1.4.

The driver is now in the repository, to close this ticket for hourglass we need:
  • scalability/reliability testing
  • review documentation (already in the development section)
