This milestone summarizes the funcionality planned for OpenNebula v2.0. Following the tradition of naming OpenNebula releases after interstellar clouds of dust, hydrogen, helium and plasma; OpenNebula 2.0 will be codenamed Orion.

The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula situated south of Orion's Belt. It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky. Orion was also memorably referenced by a dying replicant:
