Images saved from resized disks keep originzal size and not the resized

Description
If you instantiate a virtual machine with a non-persistent disk of, let's say 10GB, increase its disk size (40GB) and you save that resulting image, you will get one image with the original size in the metadata (10GB) and not the bigger size (40GB).
That could be a problem if you get new instances from the saved image and you resize it again.
