Description
Hello,
With ONE 4.14.2, in the cloud and users views, we can resize the disk declared in the template during startup but we can not declare a new disk.
Is it possible to make the Disks
more like the Network
(1) with a button Add another Disk
?
We should have a template option to lock the addition of new disks and maybe another one to manage the existing declared disks, for example:
SUNSTONE_DISK_SELECT
permit to do whatever we want with disksSUNSTONE_DISK_ADD
permit to add new disks, which could be removed too, this option locks the disks declared in the template.
Another option is to have a single option, SUNSTONE_DISK_SELECT
, with more than boolean value :
NO
disks are lockedYES
do what ever you want with disksADD
disks declared in the template are locked, but user can manage more disks.
This will be very useful for us, we mostly non persistent VMs, we have base templates with the OS and need to make some tests with different configuration of disks (several HDs, CDROMs).
Today, we need a template per combination of additional disks, so we restrict to the installation CDROM of the installed OS.
(1) note that Disks
is always plural but Network
is singular
