Description
After performing an advanced search in Sunstone (such as filtering by host or a status in the vm listing), or clicking to select a label, it is hard to tell if you are viewing search results, or all results. This is because the search box is empty in this case. (When doing a text search, that does stay in the search field so it is apparent that you are viewing search results).
It would be nice if a "clear search" button showed up next to the search field, especially for those advanced searches or after choosing a label. (Currently it is necessary to click the arrow next to the search button, and then click the "clear search" at the bottom of the search dialog). Having a button that showed up next to the search field on the main listing page would be an indication that you were only seeing search results; another way to do this would be to change the placeholder text in the search field to say "Modify Search" instead of just "Search" when a search was active.
Note also that selecting a different category in Sunstone (such as vms then images then back to vms) and returning does not clear the search -- this may be a desirable feature, so adding this 'clear search' button next to the search box would be a nice way to have both features.
