Description
I would like to see implemented that virtual server drives could be live migrated across storage back ends. An example would be that I get a new storage server and would like to migrate the virtual drives either live or in the shutdown state from sunstone.

I don't have much to offer as we are a small startup but if it would get this in faster I would like for someone to contact me with a price for either live or in shutdown state storage migration.

Hi Matthew,
If I correctly understand the request this is already implemented. Only for VMs in poweroff, though. If you go to the migrate dialog, below the host section there is an Advance Options, where you can select the datastore to migrate the VM to. I've attach a screenie.
Closing this, if this is not what you are looking for will reopen.
