Description

It would be useful to add the ability to replace the whole template for some objects.
This way users could edit existing objects to edit/add new data; maybe using the EDITOR variable from the cli.

Ideally, meaningful attributes like MEMORY or DISK for VMs would update the internal attributes and deployment files.
The core could refuse to edit objects under some circumstances (e.g., VM in running state).

This has been implemented for vm templates, images, and hosts.
